Period Problem????

About 4-5 weeks ago i went to the bathroom and there was this dried tan colored stuff. I didnt know wat it was, so i left it, then a couple days later i had a tiny bit mor, not much at all, it didnt even leek thru my underwear?? I dont know if this is my period?? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
