What can i do to get rid of an acne scar?

mmk, so i had a pimple maybe a year/2 ago and i popped and picked at it and it turned into a sore/scab and then healed and in its place is now a scar.. the scar will like swell up and turn into a bump like every few months or so until i pick at it and repeat the whole process. helpp? what can i do to get rid of it completelyyyyy?
