Should I go on look for a new friend?

Just recently one of my friend stopped talking to me because he overheard my conversation with my cousin. I told my cousin I had my homeboy on the line and in a playful way he just said F**k your homeboy. So my friend got mad at me and told me never to call again even though I tried to apologize for my cousin action. So should I just let this friendship fall because I try to call to see how he is doing and he refuses to pick up the phone for me. So far he is the only person I have to talk to because I'm so busy in college and I seldomly hear from my other friends.
