Attention seeking woman?

I'm truely perplexed by this woman at a coffee group I go to. I've been going for a year to the group and enjoyed it. Then two months ago this new lady came. She started beaming her voice over the top of everyone. Every week since she's started coming she carries on with a story of how all the mothers at the school her kid goes to "pick" on her. She talks about it the whole time and often breaks down in tears with the story. Everyones offered her advice. Today she started saying the other mothers follow her home. She doesn't listen to our advice and I started to think of leaving my group as she is too high maintenance and I don't have a nice time. She's the only one stealing the limelight and talking(blasting) in our ear. A month ago she managed to get my number and started wailing and crying about drama. I had avoided coffee to not run into her and then she rang out of the blue in tears. Friends at coffee tell me to keep coming but I am over this woman. Advice welcome
