I really do think so like for example Mariusz Pudzianowski against Tim Silvia.Tim Silvia is taller and heavier and used it to overwhelm the more powerful Mariusz Pudzianowski. And I am tall big and weak but I did beat up short and strong guys by just using my weight and long arms and I have a big belly. One person's delight may infuriate another. I love Westies because they are such happy little dogs that want to have fun and if you don't provide it they will. It is amazing how inventive they can be. Westies will demand attention, but also love to go off and do their own thing. They love people, but they have lots of other interests too. They learn very quickly and sometimes will outsmart you. They also like to change the rules. So in obedience they may do the exercise correctly or add their own twist to it-which always makes me laugh. They need clear limits, and I'm good with this. If you are very permissive and let bad behaviors slide, the Westie will walk all over you. You need to be firm, mean what you say and back it up. But you should never be nasty or harsh with them. They are active little dogs and I like that. Their main purpose was to 'go to ground,' this means they had to have the courage to follow dangerous prey into a confined area. This courage and determination that was bred into them is still strong today-I LOVE that. They are a thinking dog, yet still very loyal and willing to please from that loyalty and adoration they have for their owner. This is why Westies are my favorite. English Springer Spaniels are a favorite too, but I don't have enough room to continue typing. =(

On friday my friend smoked me up with some really dank weed. In sept I was pulled over for speeding. The officer informed me that my registration was suspended due to no insurance. Despite going to court with bank statements, a letter from the ins. co. accepting responsibility, & a lawyer, the d.a. has yet to dimiss the case. I had to post a $830 cash bond in September & am now being told by the state clerk that my bond $ is non-refundable a fact she is claiming is non-negotiable. Does any of this sound right or legal. All cases I've researched on-line resulted in a citation & impond. Why was I arrested & why has it been 7 months with no resolution. And why won't my lawyer return my phone calls?

On Saturday me and some friends went to the beach. The water was really rough, so we couldn't swim or get in the water. Wanting to start working with network security.?

Hello everyone! I am a really into computers. I'm 17 and computer program, however lately I have been wanting to get into network security and running network diagnostics. I have recently found a work on my network (fixed it of course) However, I want to get into network diagnostics and running security tests on my network. I know a few OS's such as the linux kernel Backtrack and Leolinux. However, I have heard the backtrack distros have some very powerful tools that a novice could do harm with. Does anyone no any network security tools I could play around with to start getting some experience with yzing my network for backdoors and hacks?

Are there any suggestions on how I can improve my numbers in my warrants department?

I'm a Deputy City Marshal for a dept in Texas. We make arrests for people who have primarily cl C ticket warrants and we have to clear an average of 200 warrants per month. We get our warrants through door knocks from lists that are given to us (though most are very old lists) and through traffic stops. Also from DK's (people who have died) and from add-ons (for people that are already in jail). Most of the problem is that the judges seem to wait forever to get the warrants signed so we can't arrest anyone until they are activated, which is after they are signed. There are very old warrants out also, but the judges never get around to signing them, it's a bit frustrating at times!

Nail technicians are nit M.D.'s. Thus, we are not allowed - by law, to cut living tissue. This includes the use of a 'credo' blade. This is illegal to do in most states. Some of the cheapo salons will do it for you, but not a reputable salon. A tech could lose her license for doing something like this. Let's put it this way. You don't go to a doctor and ask him/her to do something illegal, do you? I didn't think so So, the same applies here. If it's illegal, then it should not be done. How do you know if you're recovering from depression and when you're recovered?

I've been battling pretty severe depression and anxiety (plus OCD, eating disorders-but that's a different story...) since I was at least 14, and I am 20 know. I had my first appointment with a psychiatrist 3 weeks ago and started Zoloft 16 days ago. It seemed to start working a week into it, and my anxiety decreased a lot, but not completely. Also, my depression decreased so that I don't feel that huge spiraling black hole and despair anymore, and was slightly euphoric a couple of times but just because I was happy things were improving. I didn't do well on the exam this week, so I felt a little worse, but not that deep depression. I forgot how it feels to be normal (I was never normal-I was very anxious even as a little 4 year old girl, although smiling and happy till puberty), but how does it feel to be normal as in totaly free from depression? I still have trouble making myself care about my personal hygiene (I know it's yuck...) and get myself do my college work-I'm mostly online. Although I don't feel that anxiety to get myself to studying anymore, but I am a perfectionist so I procrastinate. Your thoughts and experiences on this? How do you know you're getting up from your depression and that you're completely recovered? Thanx! ;))

I have been going to the gym and lifting weight for about 5-6 months now and usually the next 2-3 days after a very intense weight lifting session I am very hungry. It seems kind of like a primal hunger. I am hungry every 1-2 hours after eating a meal and its kind of ridiculous. I try and eat as healthy as possible because I dont want to get fat! Why am I so hungry? Its as if I have went days without food.

you sound likeme!!!! i was a few months preg....got fired for something i honestly didnt do and had to fight it out for a wihle to try to get my job back and got so stressed out that i said 'screw it' and just took a min. wage job close to home to have less stress. my husband was a student so we didnt have alot of money basicly. our house was built in 1870 and we were renevating it witht the money I was making at my previous job and now i wasnt making that much money anymore. problem was, we took ALLLLLL the plaster and lathe boards OUT thinking it would make it easier to just come in with a truck load of sheetrock and do it all at once. so our only 1,000 sq foot house was bascily a 300 square foot house....thats all that was livable! we are supper some nights like this---one of us sitting on the toilet with the lid down and the other on the edge of the tub because the livng room was TRASHED with buliding materials. We planned on having a perfect house but getting fired ruined it all. My baby eneded up being born DURING all of this, 6 months after i got fired. she had to sleep in OUR bed because we didnt even have room for a bed anywhere in our house for her. I actually was soo depressed coming home to that hell hole of a house that i lied to the hospital and told them i didnt feel well so they let me stay an additional day after they normal release a new mom. I cried the way home and didnt say anything but mean things once we got home cuz i was sooo depressed and felt overwhelmed in that house with all the work to do. the living room light was actually hanging by the wire, not even mounted LOL. all her baby stuff was packed up somewhere and i never used it. BUT we made it! I dont know what you are gonna do but just do the best you can. i just wanted to share my story with you since it sounds like you are having a hard time. good luck!

When I was a teen 14 years ago, came from a very broken home, broke in the monetary area as well, I took my broken down bike and biked it to find a job and saved all my money till I could finally afford a cheap car then worked up from there. Think about how people did it when owning a car was just about out of the question. 2 miles is nothing on a bike. I rode mine in rain or shine, even in the snow a few times lol. I always had an extra change of clothes in case of getting soaked. We lived WAYYYYY out in the boonies of Northern Idaho, 8 miles out of town in the woods so it was a long ride but I did it and was in great shape too! If you don't have a bike start looking in the thrift stores. If you don't see one in there right now let them know you are looking and why and leave them your contact info; also, place an ad in craigslist that you are looking for a bike donation so you can go get a job... I have seen so many people throw bikes away or just give them away when they grow out of them or get a new one... bikes that are perfectly fine. Life can be tough but you need to find ways to be tougher. I have grown into a very well educated and responsible person mostly attributed to growing up in a tough environment and having to consistently find ways to do things that I could attain on my own. I recorded a video using my laptop webcam. Then I backed-up the file in a Segate Free Agent Go Hard Drive (using encryption). Then I decrypted the file to my computer from the Free Agent Drive. When I try to play it, the Windows Media Player gives me an error message saying "the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file". I have tried to open the file by downloading Divx player, FLV Player, Essentials Codec Pack; all from CNet.com. But, I have been unable to play it. Was there any problem transferring the file from 'Seagate Free Agent Drive' or I don't have the necessary codecs. What should I do? I have Windows Vista.

My female spayed cat who is nearly 4 years old has lived with me (and her two litter mates) since she was 8 weeks old. My cats have always had the freedom to come and go as they please (cat flap). My house back onto a small wood in the UK (badgers, birds, mice, rats etc). I've heard it's unlikely that a badger or fox will take a cat and I have looked for evidence of blood, fur, her collar etc and seen nothing. I spent 5 days searching the wood, cutting back stinging nettles etc, looking up trees and calling. I made 500 posters/flyers and put them up around the area and through people's letter boxes. I spent �100 in adverts in the paper with her photo in (she's been in 13 nights). Put her on lost & found websites. Knocked on doors in my road and the following road for people to check sheds etc. I have had about 15 phone calls and viewed 6 cats that weren't my cat but now after 5 weeks my campaign is dwindling. I was exhausted and people are telling me to move on with my life. Should I end my campaign or carry on? Has anyone got any nice stories about cats coming back? There are a lot of cats in my road and thankfully no others gone missing so I don't think there's anything really horrible going on. She is a lovely placid cat but weary of strangers and quite independent at times - would rarely seek out fuss but loved it when you fussed her. What do you think happened to my baby? Oh and I've checked with the local council who keep a record of RTA's - and scan for a microchip (which she is) so at least that is good.

Hi all! My sister had a mole removed yesterday and the doc said he was "worried." She had the same thing happen a few years ago and it turned out to be benign. I have an appt next week to have a couple suspicious moles looked at (I went to a free skin cancer screening and was told they should be followed up on) and I am SCARED! I am worried for both my sister and I. Has anyone on here had benign OR cancerous moles removed, and what happened? What did the moles look like (please don't post links to skin cancer websites because I've looked at every single one on the net- part of the reason I'm so scared!). One of my moles is on my , the other is on the side of my foot. At the screening they were named "dysplastic nevi" and "congenital nevus". Please share your experience so I can chill out! Thanks!

Sweat problem!! how can i prevent it and make it disappear?

My school forces us to wear a certain selection of cloths and i find the one that fits me most is a kinda see-through shirt, so i usually wear a t-shirt under. But I've got this sweating problem and so the sweat goes through the t-shirt (leaving it's yellow stain) and to my shirt which now has a yellow stain too. I've used Speed Stick, Degree, Axe and now using Gillette. I know that I've got to use anti-persperient deodorant. My mom was able to almost completely wash off the yellow stain from my old shits but after a while, it keeps coming back. How do i prevent it and make it disappear completely?

Paid for eyegles only to find out that they were the wrong prescription. Who should pay for my new gles

On July 2007 I got a new pair of gles to improve my left eye vision. I had some trouble adjusting to the magnification prescribed by my doctor, but I kept using it, as I thought this would improve with time. On December 2007, I noticed that if I put the right lens of my gles over my left eye, I could see perfectly clear! I thought this was an error made by the optician, so I went back. To my surprise, he stated that the gles were done exactly as ordered by the ophthalmologist. So I went back to the eye doc, who checked my eyes again, and changed the prescription saying that I needed less magnification than what was previously prescribed.(the doctor did state that the gles were made to the specifications made on that previous prescription). Now the problem is that I spend alot of money on my glasses, and now the optician is asking me full price for the new lenses with the new prescription. My question is, what is the best way to go about rectifying this situation

My boy and girl share a room at the moment and we've been giving it a makeover!They are only three and seven and seem ok with sharing at the moment quite happy with it really but we'll have to extend in the future.I am loving their room they have a huge rocking horse in the middle on a cream rug the floor is natural wood.They both have cabin beds white for my daughter,pine for my son.They both have pull out desks and a chest of drawers and bookcase underneath.My daughter has pretty flower sheets and my son has spider man.My son has all the toy story toys and they looks nice arranged on his bed.My daughter has dolls and pink bears.They have a music corner with a drum kit,guitar,keyboard where they can make lots of noise.The curtains are odd one pink one blue to make it fair and we have various girls and boys small rugs on the floor.Next I want to add wall stickers which I think will be fairies and on the other side of the room maybe a space theme.I need some decent toy boxes for them too but rome wasn't built in a day!It's taken a lot of time to get their room like this and they have the largest room but we don't mind.

Why do colleges and universities seem so liberal?

I just started college a couple of weeks ago and I love it; I've made some cool friends, joined some interesting clubs, and obviously attended cl, and studied. Overall, I think it is a much better experience than high school. However, what I don't like is that my university (and many others) seem so liberal politically. For instance, when filling out some paperwork on orientation, they had asked for my gender. The options they gave me were male, female, trans-gender, or other. Needles to say, I was beyond angry over it; God created man and woman, man created trans gender and this "other" category. Further, the school (which is a state school by the way) doesn't seem to recognize government holidays but has no problem in giving us off for Jewish holidays. My school does not give us off on Election Day, Veterans Day, nor Columbus Day. I'm a Catholic and have gone to Catholic school my entire life so not having holidays like the Immaculate Conception off is a new experience for me. However, I'm not asking for Christian holidays off, I'm only asking that the STATE SCHOOLS recognize GOVERNMENT holidays rather than religious ones. Like it or not, Americans share one religion: the religion of democracy and faith in out democratic government. That is what we as Americans should be celebrating universally. Why should we be given a vacation for holidays of a minority religion rather than for government holidays. Did I mention that this is a STATE SCHOOL? To further add to my distaste, I was looking for the campus dining office to resolve an unrelated issue when I walked ped the school mosque and what they called the "inter-religious chapel" or something like that. Why should the Muslims (who attacked this country) get their own place of worship in a school that should be abiding by the constitutional mandate of "separation of church and state" while every other religion is crammed into this smaller "inter-religious" chapel? Not to mention the school seems to be obsessed with "diversity;" obviously they used a status quo to maintain such diversity. Anyway, I could continue ranting, but I'd be here for hours, so I'll let the Yahoo Answers community take it from here.

I have my mom's same views on this. If you live in my home, use the electricity that I pay for, eat the food that I buy, wear the clothes that I have provided for you, use my furniture, sleep in the bed that I bought... then I reserve the right to go through your things if I have concerns. I would have no problem going through their phone, emails, drawers, closets, purses, bags etc. My mother just went through my things randomly, which is probably a good thing. I wasn't a very sneaky child, I always got caught doing bad things, such as smoking cigs. I was 16 when she found cigs in my purse. She threw them all away but one ,and she put that one on my computer keyboard for about 4 months. Once a week she would come down to make sure it was still there. I was so petrified, I never smoked again. She never read my journal, and I would never read my child's personal thoughts, unless I thought my child was doing something terrible (drugs, , gangs, stealing, lying etc.). Once my children are out on their own, then I absolutely will not not be going through their things, UNLESS I thought they were doing something pretty bad such as drugs, stealing etc... especially if they have children of their own.

Does this sound like a fun birthday party for a 14 yr old?

I'm turning 14 in exactly 2 months (YAY! :) ) and my idea is to invite 2 of my friends (Because I want a smaller bday). The invitations would be in the shape of a nail polish bottle with sparkles (I would make them because I love artsy stuff like that), and all the info would be on them of course. They get to pick whatever color they want, and then we would decorate them with flowers and sequence, etc. After they dry, we wear them to a nail salon and get our nails and toes painted. After, we come back to my house, have dinner, cake and ice cream, open presents, and then watch movies/play girly games. In the morning, we'd have a big breakfast, maybe go to Ihop/Denney's and then when they got picked up by their parents or when we drop them off, they'd get a jar of travel stuff. People are just so ignorant. Today at my job we had a man come in crying thinking his 6 year old american er had pyometra. We took her in back and determined she was actually pregnant and in labor. The owner had no idea how she had gotten pregnant and it's either her father or brother that is the father of the litter. So we sent him home so she could have the litter, a couple hours later we call back and she's had one puppy with a cleft palate, and another stuck in the birth c. So we told him to bring her back in, and as he was getting her out of the parking lot, she had the puppy. It was insane. I have NO idea how this guy could not realize that she was pregnant, seeing as he has "bred"( and I use that term loosely) ers for a while. It is just amazing to me.

What should I do about 2 cats with behavioral issues??And its getting worse!!!?

I have one cat he is a big lovable maine coon, and we thought he was acting out and scratching things because he was lonely so we adopted a smaller girl, sh of a schizoid cat but she is starting to warm up to us. However, she is always attacking my sons hamster and she is also highly destructive. We tried to use the soft claws to cap their nails, however between the two of them they have ruined the side and beveling on my oak armoire, scratched up two parts on our new leather couch, destroyed the carpet going into the bedroom (pulled the threads out of the berber) and recently they have started peeing on the beds. At first I let it side but they pooped on my 6 year olds bed, and have peed on my pillows 5 times (just replaced and surprise was waiting when I got home) My main question is, am I a horrible person to find them new homes? I am expecting another baby in February and I can not deal with them peeing in a crib, it is unsanitary and I think they need to go. Is it mean??? My boyfriend and son would also like to find them a new home, any thoughts??????

I think that punishment would be very fair. I can't stand people who hurt animals. It makes me sick and angry to hear stories like that. And yes, I do believe that people who inflict pain on animals will also do it to the weak people. It's a sad world we live in, and I wish that everyone had a greater appreciation for animals and nature.

If you only have 1 bird, she looks at you as her mate. Especially during breeding seasons, they will act like that because they do feed their mates as a sign of affection. You can try to discourage her trying to feed you (a soft no) but don't fuss at her and don't be afraid of her. She can sense this reaction and she may pull away from you and not be as affectionate (will feel regected). Hold her but have a towel to wipe up any mess. I take my male parrot out and give him alot of attention (scratching, kisses) and he does great. Good luck!
