Does my African Gray want to feed me?

If you only have 1 bird, she looks at you as her mate. Especially during breeding seasons, they will act like that because they do feed their mates as a sign of affection. You can try to discourage her trying to feed you (a soft no) but don't fuss at her and don't be afraid of her. She can sense this reaction and she may pull away from you and not be as affectionate (will feel regected). Hold her but have a towel to wipe up any mess. I take my male parrot out and give him alot of attention (scratching, kisses) and he does great. Good luck!
