If Jesus treated men and women as equals why in the Catholic Church, women can't ume the role of the priest?

A man can't be the Mother of God and Queen of Heaven--that is the highest honor given to any creature, and that one woman, Mary, is greater than all other creatures combined. So one could say, if men and women are equal, why can't a man ume the role of Queen of Heaven, Mother of God, Advocate, Mediatrix, and Co-Redemptrix? Women and men are equal, however, God has given them different functions in life.
